Esteban Loaiza, who spent a season with Yankees, arrested with over 20 kilograms of heroin or cocaine

 Former Yankees pitcher Esteban Loaiza was arrested on Friday in San Diego, Calif. with over 20 kilograms of heroin or cocaine, according to a San Diego Sheriff's Office.

Loaiza, 46, was also charged with felony counts of possession or purchase of narcotics and transportation or sale of narcotics.

He was held on $200,000 bail and will face the felony drug charges in court Wednesday.

Loaiza played 14 seasons in MLB from 1995-2008 and finished with a career record of 126-114. He is the second-winningest pitcher from Mexico in MLB history behind Fernando Valenzuela.

Loaiza briefly played with the Yankees in 2004 after he was traded from the White Sox to New York in exchange for Jose Contreras.

He also played for seven different teams in his career, spending most of his time with the Pirates, Blue Jays, Rangers and White Sox.
